Small tornado touched down in Chester County Tuesday night
LEEDS, S.C. — Storms moved across the Carolinas on Tuesday, and the National Weather Service reported that a very small and weak tornado touched down in Leeds, in Chester County.
The small E-F tornado was very weak, with 60-75 mph winds. It touched down at 8:46 p.m. and traveled .04 mile along Breland Drive, just off Leeds Road.
The tornado was 10 yards wide at its maximum width and broke limbs and branches along its short path. There were no injuries.
